Day 1 Arrive into Lilongwe airport. Road transfer to Burley House – a comfortable residence surrounded by beautiful rambling gardens which provides an idyllic retreat for visitors to Lilongwe. Accommodation at Burley House in an executive room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Your Enfield motorbike will be dropped off at the guest house, where you will be briefed, given a map of Malawi and route directions for your journey.
Day 2 Self-ride to Ku Chawe Inn situated in Zomba (5-6 hrs) and overlooks the plateau which is covered with vast tracts of cedar, pine and cypress. The town of Zomba, rich in history, was the colonial capital of Malawi until 1975. A great destination for walking and hiking. Amazing views of the south of the country can be seen from the top of the plateau. Interesting birding opportunities with sightings of long-crested eagle and the augur buzzard.

Day 3 Full day at Ku Chawe - spend your time hiking, walking or visit the town of Zomba
Day 4 Self-ride to Thawale Camp which is situated inside Majete Game Reserve (4-5 hrs). Majete has recently undertaken a project to relocate elephants into the park and visitors are invited to experience encounters whilst tracking elephants on foot. Other activities include bush walks, game drives, community visits and traditional dancing. Accommodation at Thawale Camp in a safari tent on a full board basis - game viewing activities and park fees are at extra cost.
Day 5 Full day at Thawale Camp
Day 6 Self-ride to Satemwa Estate (3h), which is a well established tea and coffee estate managed and operated by third generation members of the Cathcart Kay family. The house has been tastefully refurbished to offer 5 unusual Planters suites including the converted family chapel. Each area of the house has a story of its own from the original children’s nursery to the resident priests quarters. Guests are encouraged to share the colourful history of one of Malawi’s oldest homes. Accommodation at Huntingdon House in a luxury ensuite room on full board and activity basis (2 per day)
Day 7 Full day exploring the tea estate either on foot, mountain bike, horseback or quad bikes. A
picnic on Thyolo Mountain with its panoramic views of the Lower Shire Valley and Mount Mulanje are a must while evenings can be spent around a roaring fire in the grand lounge before dinner.
Day 8 Self-ride to Norman Carr Cottage (4h) which is situated on the southern lake shore of Lake Malawi, in the beautiful sheltered bay of Namakoma just 15km from Monkey Bay.

Day 9 Full day at Norman Carr Cottage spend your time relaxing on the beach, fishing, or exploring the
surrounding areas
Day 10 Full day at Norman Carr Cottage
Day 11 Self-ride to Ulendo Travel Group offices (3.5h) where you will handover the Enfield Motorbike and debrief. You will then be transferred to Lilongwe airport in time to connect with your international flight.
