Foreign Exchange Payments
The current shortages of foreign exchange make it unfeasible for Ulendo to accept payments for international travel in local currency. With immediate effect, any customers requiring foreign travel services, are required to settle through international bank transfer, directly to our preferred Wholesale Tour Operators, who will in turn ensure reservations are made and service providers in your itinerary are paid promptly. Please note that international air travel may still be paid in Malawi Kwacha at the prevailing IATA rate of exchange on the date of ticketing. Similarly any local services may still be paid in Malawi Kwacha.
We apologise for any inconvience this may cause our customers but Ulendo have found ourselves in the extremely difficult position of being unable to secure foreign exchange approvals from the Reserve Bank of Malawi to pay our international service providers
