The first few months of the year have traditionally been a slow period for tourism - well so we thought! We seem to have started the year at a run and exciting new projects and developments seems to pop up each week!

Ulendo are very pleased to have concluded negotiations with the new owners of Kaya Mawa who now have a minority interest in the Ulendo Travel Group. While Kaya Mawa will retain it's own unique identity - there is little doubt that the lodge compliments Ulendo's own property at Satemwa and we look forward to building a strong relationship with our new partners.

Here are a few more exciting developments from the Ulendo Team.....
ZAMBEZI AIRLINES LAUNCH MALAWI SERVICES

Wednesday next week will see the inaugural flight for Zambezi Airlines to Malawi. Operating a Boeing 737-500 aircraft with 12 Premier Business class and 99 Economy class seats – Zambezi will operate twice weekly between Lusaka and Lilongwe as well as offering passengers direct flights between Lilongwe and Dar es Salaam.

Ulendo are thrilled to have been appointed as Zambezi’s agents in Malawi and will be introducing some exciting offers for travel between Malawi and Zambia as well as Tanzania.


As a special incentive for passengers flying with Zambezi – we’ll be offering 1 free child fare for each paying adult, available in any class until the end of May 2010 (excludes the Easter period!)


Zambezi operate on Wednesdays and Fridays to Malawi with direct services to both Lusaka and Dar es Salaam on both days.
